Andy created AKL with his wife Kaia in 2018. After working as a builders’ assistant and CNC operator, he decided to establish his own company after recognizing gaps in the industry that call for a fresh approach to construction. It’s no secret that many people struggle to find contractors who produce at high-quality consistently, are reasonably priced and reliable- that’s why Andy’s approach to business centers integrity, creativity, and client satisfaction. Andy strives to foster a company that recognizes the value of community, and works with likeminded craftsman and team members who prioritize the same.
“We regularly work alongside specializing subcontractors who perform highest in the field, opting for collaboration over competition in order to provide our clients with the best final product possible.”
Kaia (Andy’s wife) keeps tabs on the timelines and goals of our projects, manages client communication, and handles scheduling. (The business was her idea and she takes all the credit in its success. She’s also the one typing this). When she’s not working, she’s busy wrangling the three AKL children (ages 1, 5 and 6) while dad works on-site.
